What is A2 ghee and Why Gir cows ?
Not all Ghee is created Equal. Desi Indian cows like the Gir breed produce A2 Beta- casein protein, Easily digestible and ayurvedically endorsed. Common dairy cows produce A1 protein, which may cause inflammation and digestive issues.
Why Gir Cows?
Native to India, Gir cows are revered for their healing milk properties. Grazing on organic native pastures rich in herbs, their milk is naturally rich in medicinal, sattvic and nutrient-rich.
Crafted the ancient way – Bilona method.
Fresh A2 milk from free grazing Gir cows is boiled and set to curd. The curd is then hand-churned with a wooden Bilona. The butter separated is gently heated on cow dung cakes and pure golden ghee is collected.
