   Shlloka Ji — Classical Hatha Yoga teacher, founder of the Shlloka Joshii Foundation, and a woman who has dedicated her life to the principles of yogic living — discovered something that shook her to the core. The ghee she had been consuming daily, the ghee she trusted as sacred nourishment, was adulterated. Mixed with artificial essence. Bulked with potato. The very food she offered in her morning rituals, the food she fed her family, was a lie.

The Ancient Bilona Method — Why Our Ghee is Different

    The Bilona method is a traditional hand-churning process passed down through generations in India. Unlike modern factory-produced ghee, our ghee is made the way our ancestors intended — slow, sacred, and full of life.


Our Step-by-Step Process

1. Farm-Fresh A2 Milk We source pure A2 milk exclusively from Desi (indigenous) cows — Gir, Sahiwal, or Rathi breeds — that are ethically raised, grass-fed, and free to roam.

2. Curd Setting The fresh milk is gently heated and natural curd (dahi) is set overnight, preserving the live cultures and nutrients.

3. Hand Churning (Bilona) The curd is churned using a traditional wooden churner (mathani) in a bi-directional motion. This slow churning separates pure white butter (makkhan) from buttermilk (chaas).

4. Slow Simmering The makkhan is then slowly heated on a low flame until it transforms into golden, aromatic, grainy ghee — with no additives, no preservatives, ever.
